2017 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo – redesigned for the 2013 model year, Nissan Sentra received a complete overhaul inside and out. Similar to other sedan of Nissan, Altima and Maxima, as far as design goes, Sentra also won more upscale features such as LED lights, a new navigation system and selection of such premium eight-speaker Bose audio system. Facelift 2016 bringing more attractive appearance with sporty cues that have been taken over by the Maxima, and the interior is old does not have dual zone climate control, navigation and backup camera. Outside there is only one detail that stands out from the SR Turbo based SR-lis – the “SR Turbo” badge above right tailight. Regardless of the merits Turbo SR of upgrade sporty that come with SR, including the extension side under the threshold, the exhaust pipe chrome, a rear spoiler with LED brake lights are integrated and two-tone 17 “alloy wheels, unique to this model. Honestly, I hope that the new trim has a little more extra on the outside, such as sporty bumper and new wheel, but it looks like Nissan did not want to SR and SR Turbo into anything. Bummer …
2017 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo Interior

It is under the hood, where SR Turbo really shines compared to the standard Sentra. While all other trim levels of S for SR and SL from the naturally aspirated 1.8-liter four-cylinder with 130 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque to motivate SR Turbo gets juice from a 1.6-liter turbocharged four with 188 horsepower and 177 pound feet. That’s a whopping 58 horsepower and 49 pound-feet improvement translates into significantly faster acceleration and a higher top speed (no specification is as of this writing). Also because turbocharging typically mean fuel economy better, should SR Turbo is more than 38 mpg on the highway and 29 mpg in the city.
The new unit is suitable for a six-speed manual or Xtronic CVT with manual mode, like the rest of the Sentra lineup.
Upgrades also exceeded the engine as the sedan, a redesigned steering for precise handling and a unique suspension for more spirited driving. A pair of front brake discs larger store all that extra energy in the control.

Pricing for the SR Turbo starts from $21,990, for both the manual and automatic transmission models. This sticker places the model between the standard SR, which comes in at $20,140, and the range-topping SL trim, which retails from $22,170. For reference, the base Sentra costs $16,780 before options.
